What types of injuries could result from a motorcycle accident?

Motorcycles are a popular mode of transportation in California, and are often seen operating side-by-side with automobiles, pick-up trucks and big rigs. However, unlike standard motor vehicles, motorcycles do not offer riders much in the way of safety features should an accident occur. Even if a motorcyclist is wearing a helmet and following the rules of the road, the motorcyclist could still be involved in a collision with another vehicle, resulting in some common injuries.

How can Fullerton motorists avoid accidents with bicycles?

Due to its relatively pleasant climate, residents of California can ride their bicycles just about any time of the year. And, there are many reasons why some prefer bicycling over driving. Bicycling is good exercise, is good for the environment, and is more cost-efficient than driving a vehicle. However, that doesn't mean that bicyclists don't face dangers every day, including the possibility of a bicycle accident that could leave them severely injured or even dead.

Drowsy driving can lead to disaster

In Fullerton and all around the country, driving while one is extremely tired can lead to a catastrophe. It only takes mere seconds for a serious -- or even deadly -- collision to occur, just because one driver fell asleep behind the wheel. It may seem like common sense not to drive if you are too tired, but, in actuality, many people engage in drowsy driving.

Uber use may not reduce the number of drunk drivers, study says

The ride-sharing company Uber is gaining popularity in California and nationwide. Those without cars find it useful to run errands or go out on the town. One thing that Uber claims is that its services have decreased the number of drunk drivers on the road, as those too intoxicated to drive are choosing to use Uber's services rather than drive home drunk.
